As part of our celebration of National Reading Month and Reading Promotion Week 2025, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1 AFS Jorhat organized a vibrant array of reading activities to inspire young minds. A special highlight was a student-led drama on Laxminath Bezbaruah, the Father of the Assamese short story.
The play beautifully showcased moments from Bezbaruah’s life and his literary contributions, leaving the audience both informed and inspired. Our students of READERS CLUB brought Assamese literature to life with passion and creativity, honoring a legend who helped shape regional storytelling.
The week also featured book reviews, storytelling, and reading challenges, all encouraging students to embrace the joy of reading. KV AFS JORHAT continues to nurture lifelong readers and celebrate the power of books in shaping young minds.
